(Cycle Care)

Our menstrual hygiene program in schools aims to educate, empower and create a stigma free  environment (construction of a safe Hub) where every girl manages her menstruation with dignity and confidence.

Women Support Groups

We are steadyfast in our commitment to fostering women rights, particularly in the critical realm of domestic violence. Recognizing the profound impact of support networks, we have established women and girl's empowerment support groups both in schools and community level, as a cornerstone of our initiative.

Gender & Climate Justice

Our Green Team initiative empowers communities by emphasizing environmental conservation, sustainble agriculture practices, proper recycling, and the hazards of inappropriate waste disposal. Simultaneously, we're enhancing school environments by planting trees that promise a sustainable future and shade for the next generation.

Our Story

The story of Aceso began with something as simple as water.

Kirabo Desire, the founder of Aceso, owned a farm through which a stream flowed. This stream was both a blessing and a burden to her village a vital source of life, yet a reminder of the community’s struggle to access clean water. Moved by the daily hardships of her neighbors, she made a selfless decision to open the stream to the community, allowing anyone in need to fetch water freely an action that brought relief to many families, but also opened her eyes to a deeper, hidden crisis.
